How to play:
Players post their blinds. There are pocket cards which refer to the two cards facing down. Then there are five cards facing up. These are called community cards. The Blinds:
Before dealing the cards mandatory bets called as blinds are posted by players. The use of blinds is to provide incentive to players for playing a hand and building the pot. These blinds are mandatory. There are options for player to Check, raise, call or fold. A player could wait until the big blind reaches them. If the player misses the big blind he needs to post a dead blind along with the big blind in order to return. This is a rule to restrict players from leaving the table without posting blinds.
Pocket Cards:
The player is entitled to see his Pocket Cards. After dealing the cards player needs to act after Big Blind. Then the player opts to raise or fold, call the big blind. These options are available to every player until the calling of all bets and checking Big Blinds.
The flop:
The three cards which are turned over first are called the Flop.
The Turn:
The new betting round starts with dealing of fourth card.
The River:
The last betting round takes place with the showing of last Community Card.
Show Down:
This is when the cards are shown. The pot is won by the best five card combination.
